Charles L King (CLK) and Co First National Echuca Moama has scooped the pool at its annual First National state awards for Victoria and Tasmania, winning a record-equaling 20 gongs, including Number #1 Sales Office of the Year, #1 Salesperson of the Year and the coveted Community Spirit Award.

From more than 50 First National offices across Victoria and Tasmania, and hundreds of employees, the CLK Team secured a record haul of individual awards at the National Gallery of Victoria on Saturday night and was thrilled to also come away with some important team and specialist awards. Among them was the First National Pillar Award, awarded to Janine Thorp who was recognised as an integral part of the CLK team over almost 45 years in her role. The Pillar Award celebrates an outstanding team member who’s always there to support others and embodies both teamwork and dedication.

The CLK team was also recognised for its marketing prowess with the Best Marketing Campaign of 2024 that elevated sales results and the agency’s profile through a creative and effective strategy.

In addition, the CLK team was awarded the Community Spirit Award, which acknowledged its contribution in the local community and was a direct result of the CLK Long Lunch for Mental Health, a 17 year-long involvement with the Community Living and Respite charity auction and the major land sale Charity Auction which raised an incredible $280,000 for the Echuca Regional Health Cancer and Wellness Centre.

CLK Co-Director Troy O’Brien explained that a strong focus on community created an environment where staff were working towards more than just the bottom line in their day to day.

“Results and success are important to us, however our focus here at CLK is on the wellbeing of our team, our loved ones and the wider community,” Troy said.

“Our mission is to help our entire community to thrive, and we know that by supporting individuals - family, friends and work colleagues - this can have a positive flow-on impact that cannot be underestimated,” he said.

Troy said this recognition for the third year in a row was a credit to CLK team members for their unwavering commitment to their profession as well as the amazing wider community for creating an environment where success can be fostered.

“We work really hard as a team for all our clients, and it creates an environment where outstanding results can be achieved, which has resulted in three of our sales agents ranked in the top 10,” Troy said.

“We are extremely blessed to live in the prosperous twin towns of Echuca Moama where people love to live and holiday and we all love where we live, which is evident in the passion and dedication we have for our work here on the Murray River,” he said.
